The year of the Unicorn!

June 8th, 2011

This has been an amazing year for Unicorn-kind. First, there was the Phoenix Improv Festival, then Camp Improv Utopia. The Torch Theatre has welcomed us as a troupe, and we have been actively helping build, run and promote our new stage at 4721 N. Central Ave in Central Phoenix.
BUT WAIT, there’s more!
We are about to head to our second festival, our FIRST out of state! The Duke City Improv Festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico is this weekend. We are performing on Saturday night, and the travelling begins on Thursday night! We will be posting from the road, and also check out our flickr group to keep up on the fun!

Sparkle on, dear unicorns!

Join us for Spooky Time!

October 22nd, 2010

Our monthly Story Time show gets into the Halloween spirit. Are you ready for a frightful evening of longform improv?

This Wednesday, October 27, let us scare you silly (or, possibly, silly you scared) at the almost certainly haunted Trunk Space at 8 pm. There will be the usual comfy trappings of blankets and pillows, but you may need to huddle or hug them (or each other) for reassurance as Unicorn Warpath and Apollo 12 turn to the dark side. In the latter’s case, literally. We’ll be doing a scary Harold–or, as we like to call it, a Scare-old–and rumor has it Apollo 12 will turn off the lights and perform by flashlight. Not a bad deal for $5.

Come at your own risk of serious spookification.

To lure you in, there will be Halloween treats. And if your tastes run more toward good than evil, please come with grooming and small personal care items such as toiletries, toothbrushes, combs, and so on for Reverse Trick-or-Treating. These items will be collected on behalf of Lodestar for distribution to those in need.
